International Week @ REI 2026–2027
Bring your international perspective into our classrooms
The Faculty of International Business and Economics (REI) at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), Romania, warmly invites professors from partner universities and the wider international academic community to join International Week @ REI.
Designed around the concept Teach • Connect • Collaborate, International Week @ REI brings international academic expertise directly into our classrooms and offers REI students the opportunity to engage with different perspectives, teaching approaches and academic cultures. At the same time, visiting professors can connect with REI colleagues, exchange teaching and research ideas, and explore opportunities for future academic cooperation.

What does participation involve?
- Deliver two guest lectures or interactive sessions within courses related to your academic expertise and engage directly with REI students and faculty members.
- Participate in an academic workshop.
- Join a Best Practices Exchange with REI and international colleagues and explore opportunities for research and future academic cooperation.
The programme also includes a welcome meeting, networking opportunities and social activities, creating an informal setting for interaction among international guests and the REI academic community. We encourage our guests to be present throughout the week in order to benefit fully from both the academic programme and the opportunities for networking and collaboration.
Steps to join us
APPLY → GET MATCHED → PREPARE YOUR VISIT → JOIN US @ REI
1. Apply – Select the course(s) that best match your expertise and propose a topic for your guest lecture.
2. Get matched – Following the application deadline, the REI team will review your proposal and match it with the most relevant course(s).
3. Prepare your visit – Once your participation is confirmed, we will coordinate the teaching schedule and provide the information needed to prepare your mobility.
4. Join us @ REI – Come to Bucharest, teach your classes, meet our students and colleagues, and take part in International Week activities.

Erasmus+ and Financial Support
Participants from Erasmus+ partner universities are welcome to join us using Erasmus+ funding available through their home institution. Participants are responsible for their travel, accommodation and daily expenses. There is no registration fee.
