The Faculty of International Business and Economics must establish itself as a relevant faculty at national and European level, a university space that supports and guarantees quality in all aspects.” Professor Gheorghe Hurduzeu, Dean

The Faculty of International Business and Economics (REI) stands out nationally and in Europe as a university area that supports and guarantees quality in all its aspects. All REI programs are designed with a specific and innovative learning approach in mind, which has been proven to prepare high-performing graduates in a global environment under the pressure of rapid changes. The faculty offers: Three Undergraduate programs: International Business and Economics (in Romanian), International Business and Economics (in English), Applied Modern Languages, as well as The Preparatory Year of Romanian Language for Foreign Citizens; Eight Master’s degree programs; The Doctoral School of International Business and Economics. They cover a wide range of skills and interests of our students and graduates, from International Business Management and International Economics & European Affairs to International Logistics or Financial Risk Management. In addition, there are international mobilities (one semester or one academic year) at prestigious universities, more than 150 partnerships with the business sector for internships (national and international), as well as the possibility of developing communication skills: REI students study 2 foreign languages compulsorily and have access to 11 other elective courses: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Chinese, Russian, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese.

The solid theoretical foundation, alongside diversified practical applications, simulations, debates, role plays, group projects, combined with practical training, enables our graduates to work in companies with international activity (multinational companies in various fields, exporters and importers of goods and services, intermediaries, etc.), embassies, consulates and trade representations, European institutions, international and regional organizations (IMF, the World Bank, OECD etc.), banks, and other national and international financial institutions (stock exchanges, investments funds, insurance companies, etc.), central and local public institutions (ministers, the National Bank, governmental agencies), management consultancies – national and international, research-development and knowledge and technology transfer institutions, national and international media, educational institutions, training firms, recruitment companies, impactful non-governmental organizations, or in their own start-ups.

The Faculty of International Business and Economics represents a truly international community, having students coming from Albania, Azerbaijan, Australia, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Canada, China, Congo, Croatia, Germany, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Macedonia, Nigeria, Republic of Moldova, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Korea, Syria, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, USA and Vietnam.

Ultimately, we believe that the success of the faculty means the success of our students. That is why every study program and every activity within the REI Faculty is designed to lead to what the students are looking for: to have the same study opportunities they would be offered at the best international universities and to be given the chance to gain the knowledge and skills that will make them good specialists, knowledgeable in the field, connected to the complex world of international business and economics.
