Am demarat înscrierile pentru selecția studenților care vor participa la evenimentul ”Behind the Curtain: The Economic Perspective of Political Decisions” – vizită la Parlamentul European, Bruxelles, Belgia 19-21 noiembrie 2025
În perioada 15 septembrie – 5 octombrie 2025 are loc procesul de înscriere în vederea selectării studenților care vor lua parte la evenimentul ”Behind the Curtain: The Economic Perspective of Political Decisions”, desfășurat în parteneriat cu cabinetul domnului Șerban Dimitrie Sturdza, membru al Parlamentului European, și Smart Event Marketing SRL.
Evenimentul, destinat studenților ASE București, Facultatea de Relații Economice Internaționale și Facultatea de Marketing, va avea loc în perioada 19-21 noiembrie 2025 în Bruxelles, Belgia și urmărește să consolideze competențele viitorilor economiști, factori de decizie politică și lideri civici. Timp de trei zile, 39 de studenți vor descoperi, din spatele cortinei, cum se construiesc deciziile politice, printr-o călătorie în inima Europei, participând la dezbateri interactive și sesiuni de gândire critică pe teme arzătoare precum: costuri reale, compromisuri și stimulente în politicile publice și implicațiile socio-economice ale acestora.
Cine poate participa?
Studenți ai ASE București, înmatriculați la Facultatea de Relații Economice Internaționale sau Facultatea de Marketing (licență anii II și III, masterat sau doctorat, forma de învățământ cu frecvență) care:
- sunt cetățeni români, cu vârsta de peste 18 ani și documente de călătorie valabile;
- au o medie de minimum 7,00 în anul universitar 2024–2025/ o medie de admitere de minim 7 la masterat anul 1 sau la doctorat;
- nu au mai participat anterior la o delegație la Parlamentul European;
- trimit, în perioada 15 septembrie – 5 octombrie 2025, toate materialele, respectiv documentele solicitate, respectând termenele și condițiile din Regulament.
Cum are loc înscrierea?
Pentru validarea candidaturii, fiecare student va transmite, în perioada 15 septembrie – 5 octombrie 2025, un e-mail la adresa delegatiepe@gmail.com care va include următoarele documente:
- Materialul video (1–2 minute, format mp4) – în limba engleză, argumentativ, original și relevant pentru una dintre temele propuse;
- Cererea de înscriere (Anexa 1 la Regulament) – în format PDF;
- Acordul de prelucrare a datelor cu caracter personal – GDPR (Anexa 2 la Regulament) – în format PDF;
- Angajamentul de participare (Anexa 4 la Regulament) – în format PDF;
- Contractul de cesiune către ASE a drepturilor de autor asupra materialului video (Anexa 5 la Regulament) – în format PDF;
TEMATICA MATERIALULUI VIDEO

Cum are loc selecția?
Criteriul I – Evaluarea materialului video (6–15 octombrie 2025) – 40%
Criteriile de evaluare:
- Originalitatea și creativitatea conținutului – 10 puncte
- Rigoarea raționamentului – 10 puncte
- Utilizarea corectă a limbajului și a terminologiei academice – 20 puncte
Criteriul II – Interviul (15–18 octombrie 2025) – 30%
Interviul se va desfășura în limba engleză și va urmări, în principal:
- Capacitatea de argumentare și exprimare publică;
- Înțelegerea temei alese;
- Motivația participării și interesul față de valorile europene.
Criteriul III – Media ultimului an absolvit/ media de la examenul de admitere
Media aritmetică simplă a ultimului an absolvit va reprezenta 30% din evaluarea finală. În cazul candidaților masteranzi anul 1 și doctoranzi se va lua în calcul media de la examenul de admitere.
Lista finală a celor 39 de studenți selecționați va fi publicată pe canalele oficiale ASE în data de 19 octombrie 2025.
Vor fi desemnați 5 studenți în lista de așteptare, în ordinea punctajelor finale, care pot fi invitați să participe în caz de retragere a unui titular.

(ENG) We have launched the registration process for the selection of students who will take part in the event “Behind the Curtain: The Economic Perspective of Political Decisions” – a study visit to the European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium, November 19–21, 2025.
Between September 15 and October 5, 2025, students may apply to be selected for participation in the event “Behind the Curtain: The Economic Perspective of Political Decisions”, organized in partnership with the office of Mr. Șerban Dimitrie Sturdza, Member of the European Parliament, and Smart Event Marketing SRL.
The event, open to students of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Faculty of International Business and Economics and Faculty of Marketing, will take place between November 19–21, 2025, in Brussels, Belgium. Its aim is to strengthen the skills of future economists, policymakers, and civic leaders. Over the course of three days, 39 students will discover, from behind the curtain, how political decisions are shaped, through a journey to the heart of Europe, engaging in interactive debates and critical thinking sessions on pressing issues such as the real costs, trade-offs, and incentives in public policies and their socio-economic implications.
Who can participate?
Students of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, enrolled in the Faculty of International Business and Economics and Faculty of Marketing (Bachelor’s programs, 2nd and 3rd year, Master’s or Doctoral studies, full-time), who:
- are Romanian citizens, over 18 years old, and hold valid travel documents;
- have obtained a minimum grade point average of 7.00 in the 2024–2025 academic year / a minimum admission average of 7 for first-year Master’s or Doctoral studies;
- have not previously taken part in a delegation to the European Parliament;
- submit all required materials and documents between September 15 and October 5, 2025, in compliance with the deadlines and conditions set out in the Regulations.
How to apply
To validate their application, each student must send an email between September 15 and October 5, 2025 to delegatiepe@gmail.com, including the following documents:
- a) Video material (1–2 minutes, MP4 format) – in English; argumentative, original, and relevant to one of the proposed topics;
- b) Application form (Annex 1 to the Regulations) – PDF format;
- c) Consent for the processing of personal data – GDPR (Annex 2 to the Regulations) – PDF format;
- d) Commitment to participate (Annex 4 to the Regulations) – PDF format;
- e) Copyright assignment agreement to ASE for the video material (Annex 5 to the Regulations) – PDF format.

Note: Each candidate must choose only one topic from the list above.
How does the selection process take place?
Criterion I – Video material evaluation (October 6–15, 2025) – 40%
Evaluation criteria:
- Originality and creativity of the content – 10 points
- Rigor of reasoning – 10 points
- Correct use of language and academic terminology – 20 points
Criterion II – Interview (October 15–18, 2025) – 30%
The interview will be conducted in English and will mainly assess:
- Argumentation skills and public speaking ability;
- Understanding of the chosen topic;
- Motivation for participation and interest in European values.
Criterion III – Academic average (last completed year / admission average) – 30%
The simple arithmetic average of the last completed academic year will account for 30% of the final evaluation. For first-year Master’s and Doctoral candidates, the admission average will be considered.
The final list of the 39 selected students will be published on ASE’s official channels on October 19, 2025.
Additionally, 5 students will be placed on a waiting list, in order of their final scores, and may be invited to participate in case of withdrawal by a selected candidate.
