Diana Arjoca – Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal
“The Faculty of International Business and Economics was a natural choice for me, given my passion for foreign languages cultivated in the various countries where I used to live, coupled with my interest in the study of economics and its applicability in multinational companies. The REI faculty has contributed both to my professional development, by providing the opportunity to work in multinational companies, and to my personal development, by giving me the opportunity to study with the Erasmus program in Vienna, where I currently live. In my current position as Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal I make full use of the knowledge I acquired during my higher education, especially during my PhD, having completed my thesis under the supervision of Professor Ioan Popa, where I analysed in depth the direct investment strategies of Austrian companies in Romania. I still enjoy it whenever I realize that the REI Faculty has left its mark on most of my professional achievements, a reason why I will continue to encourage future generations of economists to take full advantage of the many opportunities this faculty has to offer.”
