Georgiana Cosoveanu – Senior Governmental & Corporate Affairs Manager, Johnson & Johnson Romania
“For me, the Faculty of International Business and Economics (REI) stands for Diplomacy, Elite, Excellence, Success, Leaders, as well as Dedicated Professors, Exceptional Colleagues and Lifelong Trustworthy Friends.
REI is the foundation of my education and the key to my professional development, the gateway to new study abroad opportunities, including the scholarships in Moscow and Washington DC (Georgetown University and George Washington University), as well as the research projects at Berkeley University of California.
Professionally, REI has paved my way into the art of international healthcare relations and I have learned that there are international relations careers to be pursued with energy, passion and determination, in any field and industry, from public administration, Government to business and multinational companies. I am currently a member of the Executive Leadership Team of one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies and have been elected to leadership positions in several trade and business associations.
Following my training at REI, I have continuously applied the strategy of thinking globally and acting locally, nationwide. I learned how using diplomacy in business can contribute to the sustainable development of Romania’s healthcare system and provide better access to innovative treatments. I encourage every young person to follow the REI programs! And here I am, back again at REI, 20 years after my graduation, as a PhD student at the School of International Business and Economics.”
