LIVIU VOINEA

Liviu Voinea – Romania’s representative to the International Monetary Fund, member of the IMF Executive Board, former Minister Delegate for Budget and former Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Romania.

“The Faculty of International Business and Economics has always been an elite faculty, highly competitive, high-caliber professors and very good job prospects after graduation. I owe a lot to the faculty: being training as a macroeconomist holding an international perspective, getting friends still in place today, the first scholarship abroad, at Stockholm University, and, years later, the chance to mentor new generations of economists. A REI graduate, and especially a REI Master’s graduate, has more than a university degree on his CV: he/she already has a social status.”
